At Grand Strand Health, we partner with physicians and other medical professionals who have the most topmost qualifications and credentials. Our goal is to provide quality, safe and compassionate medical care to our community, and ensuring that the medical staff at our facilities are properly credentialed is a major part of that mission.

Credentialing and privileging

Our rigorous credentialing process follows Federal and State regulatory requirements and accreditation standards. We verify education, training, licensure and current competence to ensure that privileges are only granted to qualified providers. You can find more information on our credentialing portal.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding physician credentialing, please get in touch with our medical staff office.

Keep track of your wages and paid time off (PTO) on our electronic pay stub website. You can get information 24/7, and paystubs are posted on the Thursday before each payday.

Outside organizations can quickly and easily request the verification of physicians in good standing at an HCA Healthcare facility. The requesting organization may self-generate and print a verification letter.

At any time, you can access your schedule, request time off and check your Kronos time from the facility scheduler website. Schedules are posted two weeks prior to the beginning of the next schedule cycle. To log in, use your 3-4 ID and password. In order to access the scheduler, your computer must use Internet Explorer version 6.0 or higher.

The Good Government Group is a grassroots employee organization comprising HCA Healthcare staff. We welcome the participation of our friends, family, physicians and volunteers in helping to improve healthcare. This program provides a unique way for all our staff to become informed, involved and politically active.

Grand Strand Medical Center, our network's primary facility, is accredited by the Continuing Medical Education (CME) Committee of the South Carolina Medical Association. We sponsor high-quality CME opportunities for physicians.

The HCA Hope Fund is an employee-run, employee-supported 501(c)3 charity. The goal of the HCA Hope Fund is simple — to help HCA Healthcare employees and immediate family members who have been affected by hardship. This includes disasters, extended illness or injury and other special situations. The fund provides emergency information, referrals and financial aid. HCA Healthcare employees, vendors, affiliated physicians and the general public can make tax-deductible donations to the fund.
